DVRupgrade.com Saved My Tivo Series 1!

A few months ago my Tivo series 1 hard drive crashed. It was purchased in 2001 with a 10 gig drive and a lifetime subscription (which Tivo does not offer anymore). Spinrite v6 could not fix the drive and it was almost impossible to find a series 1 Tivo image on the internet. I eventually ran across someone on a message board that had success with DVRupgrade.com. The web page claimed to be able to upgrade my Philips HDR212 (second model created) to 1034 hours (dual 400 gig drives) with a self-installation replacement kit. I ordered the 312 hour (250 gig drive) with a cache card (speeds up menus) and was able to install it in one hour when it arrived! It looks like we are back in action for another six years. |

This CNN report details some stories about parents who went through the difficult task of facing their children’s autism. It also details how the American Adcademy of Pediatrics are now suggesting that children get screened for autism at least twice before they are two years of age. This such a sad thing. |

Both air crew from a U.S. Navy F-14A have been safely recovered following a crash in the Pacific Ocean 800 miles west of Guam on 20 September 1995.
The aircraft nearly broke the sound barrier, then explodes because of what was apparently an engine compression failure. |
